Another successful project completed!

Here are a few photographs taken by Angela of the soft furnishings and curtains made for the prestigious "11 Brunswick Street", a boutique hotel in the heart of Edinburgh, just a stone's throw from the hubub of Princes Street.
The effect inside the hotel is of an oasis of calm - a lush, tranquil spot from which to relax and plan the day's activities in Edinburgh's vibrant capital city. The interiors were designed by Eileen Haywood, a designer from Drumoak and the hotel was, in Angela's words, "taken back right to the stonework" before the builders and decorators were allowed to take over.

Despite the distance from Aberdeen, the very high specification and the need to work around decorators and builders, the soft furnishings were completed in three months from start to finish. The results are very fine indeed- and of course,  if you wish to sample the delights of Edinburgh amid stylish surroundings, (and lovely soft furnishings!) we can recommend 11 Brunswick Street!.

Bonny Banchory- the town with heart!

The new BBA (Banchory Business Association) website is up and running! We love bonny Banchory and of course, we want to spread the word...

Banchory- 'The Gateway to Deeside', is about a half hour's drive south-west of Aberdeen. If you crave the calm of the country, are tired of the bustle and traffic of Aberdeen, then visit Banchory, where you can easily park, shop without stress, and chill in one of Banchory’s many eateries. Banchory is a charming country town, that boasts a great choice of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. Banchory also has a great park and a mini-amusement area for the children.

The new BBA site is a great way to explore the Banchory Business Association members’ shops and businesses. These are just a few of the many and diverse shops and businesses in Banchory. The website was designed by the fab Millstudio design duo, with super photographs by Logan Sangster of Deeside Photographics, Banchory.

'It's Curtains For You' is on the list, as we are BBA members. So check out the BBA website - then come and visit us at Banchory!

Summertime, and the giving is easy...

With the help of our gift tokens, it couldn't be easier to show someone special that you care.  When your friends come to use their gift tokens, they will find that we're not a large franchise or an impersonal store, but a friendly local shop. We want to help customers find what they really want and what's right for their homes.
We know that it's not always fun buying a present for newlyweds or for a friend's new home. Our gift tokens will take the pain out of choosing the perfect present- and they will remember that you were kind enough to choose the North East's quality supplier of curtains and soft furnishings, where service and attention to detail come as standard. Gold standard, that is.
Gift tokens are available for any sum so that you can choose how much you want to spend and of course, there is also a wedding theme gift token for that special occasion.

Someone told us that we're the North East's best kept secret...we hope not, but if you've been happy with our service, please help by spreading the word about our shop!
